Happy first day of Spring!
Au Revoir, Winter--Bonjour, Spring!
Well, in theory. Where I live, it’s still thirty-eight degrees Fahrenheit, so very cold, but I’m excited for the opportunities coming this spring! And there will be, even if I have to make opportunities come knocking myself.
My father and I can finally resume our project of building a writing shed, which we’ve dubbed the Literature Lair (get it? Get it?) We haven’t been able to work on it since it got colder, but once the ground thaws, we can get cracking on it.
Spring also holds my birthday! April 9th is the glorious day where I came into this world, and I can’t wait to celebrate it with my family and friends.
This spring, I hope to go on at least one trip! I refuse to sit cooped up in my house the entire season, like I did in the winter months. I was thinking maybe revisit New York, because I’ve heard that NYC in the springtime is beautiful. Just have to get out.
It's also going to be the time for writing, writing, writing! I've got a few novels to finish for the spring time, and my novel, Hitting a Home Run, is coming down the home stretch. And if that isn't exciting, I don't know what is!
The stir-craziness from the winter is finally about to wear off, and we can greet the next few spring months with open arms and shorts.
And to those of you who can already wear shorts because you live in a warm environment, I’m infinitely jealous.
Over and Out,
